Hmpf. Deadline of the copywriting course’s final project is nearing. Today I need to go an approve my concept. The problem is… I don’t have one! 
We had a month working on the concept, most people already have most of the work ready, including visual and ads and all. I was so busy the past month with the game development I only “woke up” 2 days ago. Now, everybody are coming with all the ads already prepared and I have, well… nothing really.
The issue of the final project we got was apolitically correct. The leading guideline was Be ashamed of what you do! For example, Shir is doing a campaign against old people. Others do against Fat people, against equal rights to women and I… Well, not surprisingly, I’ve decided to do a campaign in favore of discriminating WHITES because of their color.
Problem is – we don’t really have a whites-blacks issues in Israel, all most of us knows about it is from American TV shows or Movies. Anyway, I’m really under pressure as I have to be there in less then 3 hours (one hour of which is driving) and I have absolutely nothing to show. How pathetic.

Sheik Yassin was killed in Gaza by Israeli helicopters. The whole israeli media is running amok about this. It shouldn’t be any surprise as it’s not the first time such a thing was attempted.
On a personal opinion (a short one cause I’m in a hurry to go to work) I think this act is justified but not very smart. Justified cause if there was someone in hamas that deserved to be killed it’s him. He was the big honcho, the guy that gave all the orders and used (or should I say abused) his role as a religious leader to send young people to explode among us. Not very smart – Well, while I have absolutely no pity for him or for hammas, I know that this will bring to another rise in terror attacks attempts.
Then again, it’s not like we didn’t have dozens of alerts anyway. They are trying to execute attacks regardless.

I’m really tired and I have heaps to do. Copywriting final work and stuff. Anyway, more on the issue. When I was driving this morning to work I listened to the radio. Seems there wasn’t any real range of opinions – even politicians from the left supported the killing of Sheik Yassin. Well, at least we’re united behind THIS… Also the killing generated a wave of spontaneous small un-politically correct jokes. You know. One way to deal with all this stuff. Anyway, I basically thought more about the issue, heard people, and on the basic level, I’m still supportive of the act. If you engage in terror you have no immunity. None what so ever.
And with all due respect, should we be afraid of killing those who kills us? Why, cause the Arabs might not like it? Cause Europe? I was almost rolling on the floor laughing when I heard the British reaction calling Yassin a “crippled old man”. Yea, right. A crippled old man with the blood of a countless number of Jewish bloods on his hand. Just to remind you who this guy is, this is one of the attacks the Hammas, under Yassin’s “spiritual” leadership has comitted.
All in all I can’t say how much this thing will be positive for the long run, but while I’m not full of joy, I can’t pretend to be sorry for this head terrorist death.
