Happy Independence Day!
As every year, we celebrate the traditional way – a big Bar-B-Q with all the family. And – As in every year, I’m broadcasting the whole event. 1 picture every 40 seconds.
Enjoy!
(I’ll post selected images after the event will be over)
OOOOOOkk! That took too long and consumed a lot of my time and energy. But this afternoon I’ve finally picked up the stuff from the print shop. My 3 billboard ads (70cm x 30cm) and my 3 Stickers (35cm x 15cm). I’ve dedicated some thought to weather I should or shouldn’t post small copies of the works here on the blog. I’ve decided against, as they can easily be misused or even worse – misunderstood and generate hateful comments.
But I’m so relieved the hard work is over! I’ve spent the past week driving almost everyday between Ashkelon (whereI live and where the print shop is) and Petah Tikva (where the computer I work on is at). I’ve spent every night the past days trying to fix stuff. A trained artist would have probably finished this in a couple of days, but being a programmer/copywriter with a very limited knowledge in Photoshop, I probably chose the hardest way to do any of the things. Still, it’s almost all behind me now. I’ll put the signs at ACC on Sunday and that’s it. The exhibition will be on the 3rd of May (Monday), from around 18:00 till 20:00, at the Betzefer, “mezizim” beach, Tel Aviv harbour. You’re all invited!
This is also the place to thank Ian, a talented artist, a friend and, well, a white guy, who took the trouble to get me a picture of himself posing in fear for my “Hunting Season Open” Ad. Seems the Canadian guys aren’t that bad! You hear that, CB?
(of course, there is also Dan, but he’s a quarter Israeli so it doesn’t count…)
A direct hit of 2 missiles and BOOM! No Rantisi!
I’m not really dancing in the street (that’s what Palestinians do) but I’m certainly very pleased. Rantisi had it coming for a long time. He used to surround himself with kids and women, knowing our pilots will not be authorized to shot him while with innocent civilians. But he did one mistake today and drove with only 2 of his bodyguards. And that’s it. Direct hit, excellent work.
Continue reading ‘The end of Rantisi. Thumbs up.’
Happy passover everybody!
I’m at my family in Ashdod. Will be back in Ashkelon tomorrow afternoon.
Easy on those Matzot…
Time I’ll go some cousin bashing. I caught an irritating cold from my cousin Aviad and since yesterday I’m leaking all over. Damn it.
Passover is very near and everybody and their sister are cleaning everything in sight. Not to mention the traditional declaration of “Kasher LePesach” zones, which are even more secured then the army’s fire zones. Make one step into such area (even without bread in your hand) and from nowhere you’ll get a megaphone in your ear shouting “Not there, that’s a Kasher LePesach Zone!!!”. It also happens when you’re alone in the house. We’ve been raised that way, we can’t escape it.
Our MotorDuels: Outcast mobile game is basically finished except some corrections here and there and QA. I just want to get the damn thing already ported and out on the market. Time to get some return on investment. You guys better buy it from your local cell phone operator, you hear?! I’ll be checking IPs of people!
I’ve also got to finish and submit my final project for the copywriting exhibition. The last date for approving our campaigns is 15/4, by 22/4 all the actual stuff got to be at ACC and the exhibition itself will take place at the 29th. I got lost of ideas but nothing I managed to really pin down. 3 billboards, 3 stickers. My subject – Campaign against white people. My slogan (how surprising…) “Kill The White People!”. Now I only need to complete this hate campaign and hope to win the contest. Yeah, right.
